Sileby Photographic Society

Audio-Visual Shows

A small group of Sileby members visit photographic societies and other organisations to provide presentations of slide shows. Many, but not all, of these were featured at past Annual Exhibitions. Those from former Exhibitions are fully automated AV presentations with music and commentary. The shows cover a large variety of subjects, from local history to world-wide themes and from natural history to general entertainment. With each show lasting approximately 20 to 25 minutes, two or three of these make an excellent evening's entertainment. The shows listed below have been seen by over 20,000 people from hundreds of organisations and are always warmly received. Other shows are available, some being fully automated AVs whilst others involve the presenter speaking through the images.  Shows produced from 2007 onwards are digital shows; those up to that point are on slides.  A key to the "Type" column is given below.

Following is a list of slide shows that are available for booking. The popularity rating, indicated only for the former Exhibition shows, takes into account the number of people who have seen the shows, bearing in mind how long the show has been available.
